Important Registration Information for 2024-2025
At Delight Music School, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive overview of our studio policies and procedures. In this outline, you will find important information about our practices and related topics. Please take a few moments to carefully review the contents.
Registration
We provide the following lessons:
Piano, Violin, Guitar, Ukulele, Flute, Voice, Drum, Brass Instruments, and Group Classes.
When you register for lessons, you are making a commitment for the entire school year and agreeing to the following Studio Policies:
Lesson Rates
Lesson fees for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:
- $33 for a 30-minute lesson
- $49.50 for a 45-minute lesson
- $66 for a 60-minute lesson
Senior teachers for advanced students are available; please contact us for rates and to schedule an audition.
Lessons are based upon enrolment for 40 weeks of private instruction (September - June). Tuition fees can be paid in full for the entire lesson year or through monthly instalments throughout the school year. Lessons can begin at any time during the year, and we will prorate the lesson fee based on the month of enrolment.
Summer lessons for July and August are also available. Lesson fees include two recitals each year.
Payments
The lesson fee is paid through monthly instalments. Please select one of these monthly rates according to the lesson you have registered for:
- 30-minute lessons: $132
- 45-minute lessons: $198
- 60-minute lessons: $264

Payment Methods
- Cash
- Debit Card: A 1% processing fee applies.
- E-Transfer: delightmusicschool@gmail.com
- Cheques: Post-dated cheques should be dated for the 1st of the month and made payable to “Delight Music School.” A $25 fee will be charged for NSF cheques.
- Credit Card: A 3% processing fee applies.
All fees for lessons are paid monthly—in advance—one week before each new month. If lessons begin partway through a scheduled month, fees will be prorated accordingly.
Cancellations
- No make-up lessons will be provided if students arrive late for lessons.
- A minimum of 24 hours' notice must be given if you wish to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
- Any cancelled lessons that are not notified within 24 hours will result in a charge for the lesson, with no make-up lesson provided. Please understand that we cannot plan for other activities, lessons, or work in this short amount of time. Therefore, there will be no exceptions to this rule.
